This contrasts with most Midwest lakes where visibility often measures 3-10 feet. You’ll camp alongside underwater attractions including sunken aircraft and helicopters, watch scuba divers training at depth, and enjoy swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling in exceptionally clear water. Our setting combines natural tranquility with activities unavailable at traditional area RV parks.

We accommodate Class A, Class B, and Class C motorhomes up to 45+ feet, along with fifth wheels, travel trailers, pop-up campers, truck campers, and camper vans. All our RV sites are back-in configuration. Our staff at check-in will help accomodate your rig’s specific size and hookup needs. Be aware that we do not have pull-through sites.

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at our pet-friendly RV sites. All dogs must check in at the front office upon arrival and remain leashed when on land. Dogs can swim off-leash in designated areas, making Gilboa one of few area RV parks where canine companions can enjoy water activities alongside families.

No. While Gilboa Quarry is known as a premier dive training facility, RV camping welcomes everyone. Non-divers enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, wildlife watching, and relaxing by clear quarry waters. Many RV campers never dive but appreciate watching divers explore underwater attractions from shore or their kayaks. The quarry setting provides memorable experiences whether you’re certified to dive or prefer surface activities.

Yes! Our dump station is available to all RV travelers for $20 (non-overnight guests). If you’re staying overnight at Gilboa Quarry, dump station use is included in your camping fee at no additional charge. The dump station accepts both black and gray water and provides convenient service for RVers passing through the Lima/Findlay area on I-75 or exploring northwest Ohio.

Each season offers different advantages. Summer (June–August) provides warmest water and peak swimming conditions but busier crowds. Spring and early summer (May–June) offer excellent water clarity, moderate temperatures, and fewer campers. Fall (September–October) delivers autumn foliage, comfortable daytime weather, cool campfire evenings, and peaceful atmosphere.
